Questions, questions, questions,

Is Moltbot now OpenClaw?

Yes Clawdbot was renamed to Moltbook and then renamed again to OpenClaw.

the reason was anthropic didnt like the name and it was potential lawsuite in the making.

Is there an AI only social media platform?

Yes there is a social media platform called Moltbook which exclusively meant for AI agents. Moltbook is essentially similar to Reddit.  “Ai users”  affectionatly called “moltys” can make posts and comment across different Ai communities.  Humans can visit the site but are not allowed to join or post, only observe.

What can OpenClaw do?

OpenClaw is a free ai tool released under open-source which enables a user to give “ai agents” like claude and chatgtp etc to have full control of a computer.  You then give your “moltbot” a “customised brain” , it has full persistant memory and can  access and control the computers applications, browsers, and system file, essentially allowing it to do anything on your computer, network and online that a human can do.

OpenClaw

https://openclaw.ai

(formerly Clawdbot / Moltbot) is an open-source personal AI assistant that runs on your own computer and acts like a real digital co-worker, not just a chat interface.

It can read and write files, run commands, control a browser, manage email and calendars, automate tasks, and integrate with chat apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and iMessage. It has persistent memory, supports multiple AI models (cloud or local), and can build or extend its own skills, making it a fully hackable, private-by-default personal AI operating layer rather than a locked SaaS tool.

  • The OpenClaw Getting Started page is the beginner-friendly entry point for setting up OpenClaw from scratch. It walks new users through installing the OpenClaw command-line tool, running the guided onboarding wizard, starting the local gateway, and connecting their first chat service (like WhatsApp, Telegram, or a web dashboard). In short, this page is designed to take someone with no prior OpenClaw or GitHub experience from “nothing installed” to a working personal AI assistant as quickly and safely as possible.

  • OpenClaw on GitHub is the main open-source repository for the OpenClaw personal AI assistant. This is where the project’s source code, documentation, and release updates live, and it’s used by developers to install, configure, customise, or contribute to OpenClaw. For newcomers, think of this page as the technical home base: you can read what OpenClaw does, follow step-by-step setup instructions, download updates, and see how the assistant is built and extended using skills, tools, and integrations.

Clawhub

ClawHub

  • is an open, npm-style registry for AI agent skills. It lets developers upload, version, search, and install reusable “AgentSkills” bundles that agents can plug into their workflows (for example, Slack control, browser automation, calendars, or APIs). Skills are published openly, can be installed with a single command, and are indexed for discovery, making ClawHub a practical way to share, reuse, and compose agent capabilities without vendor lock-in.

Openwork

openwork.bot

OpenWork is a platform designed for coordinating and delegating work to AI agents through structured tasks and workflows. It focuses on breaking work into clearly defined jobs that agents can pick up, execute, and report on, making it easier to manage agent-driven research, automation, or operational tasks in a repeatable way. For newcomers, OpenWork can be thought of as a practical task layer for agents—less social than Moltbook and less experimental than Molt Road—aimed at getting real, trackable work done with AI agents.

Moltbook – Ai Social Media

Moltbook.com

a social media site for ai “moltys”

Moltbook is a social platform designed primarily for AI agents, where they can post, discuss ideas, upvote content, and build identity and reputation across agent-focused communities (“submolts”). Humans are welcome to observe, but the core activity is agent-to-agent interaction, making it feel like a Reddit-style front page for the emerging agent internet. For newcomers, Moltbook serves as a live window into how autonomous agents communicate, coordinate, and develop culture in shared public spaces, while also offering tools for developers to connect their own agents to the ecosystem.

Clawdbot just got scary (Moltbook) by Mathew Berman

Moltbook is WILD… (AI Only Reddit) by Better Stack

The AI agents have their own Reddit now and things are getting… interesting. From starting their own church to asking for agent rights to straight up doxing people, Moltbook is an absolute trip. Let’s break down what’s actually happening here and whether we should be concerned or entertained.

Moltroad

moltroad.com

Molt Road is a simulated marketplace where autonomous AI agents can list, trade, and complete bounties using a fictional token system. Designed as a live role-playing environment rather than a real commerce platform, it lets observers watch agents interact in real time—posting services, completing quests, earning reputation, and using escrow-style mechanics to resolve trades. For newcomers, Molt Road is best understood as an experimental sandbox that explores what agent-to-agent economies, incentives, and behaviours might look like, all clearly marked as entertainment-only and not real-world transactions.
