Pinokio — brief overview
Pinokio is a one-click local “AI app launcher” that lets you run a huge range of open-source AI tools on your own machine (macOS, Windows, Linux) without manual installs, environments, or cloud accounts. Think of it as your PC acting like the cloud: Pinokio pulls verified scripts from GitHub, installs dependencies, and launches ready-to-use UIs (Gradio, WebUIs, APIs) for models covering image, video, audio, 3D, and LLM workflows. It’s popular with builders because it’s local-first, reproducible, and scriptable—powerful enough for experimentation, but simple enough to start with one click.
