Before we were Gameznet we were Netgamez


Before Gameznet I had registered a business as Amac Enterprises and had this great idea of starting a business of my own to get out of painting and brickies labouring. So I joined the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme and got to work on a business plan. I took my plan to everyone I could to get it started and eventually had one of the workers at the local C.E.S (Commonwealth Employment agency) take an interest in my plans. He becam my partner along with another guy who encouraged me to reach for it all so we moved into Osborne Park.

The first location was purely related to helping people with computers, As time went by I got the idea of setting up a LAN so we could use it to takecomputer games to a new level with multiplayer gaming and also use the LAN for training people on computers. There was nothing else like it around at the time. Stuck for a name we came up with NetGamez first.

Osborne Park was starting to draw in players and groups came from far and wide but we knew we were in the wrong location as it was an industrial area and out of the way of any walkby traffic, We started looking for somewhere better and moved to a local shopping centre in Craigie
