"What
a Ride"
This is more of a history on "myself"
than of just Gameznet or Amac Enterprises. Andrew

the history of
Amac Enterprises and Gamesnet
Gameznet is something
that is a part of me and grew from a tiny dream seed deep within my
being. To really give the complete history of Gameznet I have to provide
some of my own history which tells the story of how things evolved
and grew over several years.
To start things off I discuss my leaving school, getting my first
job and over my head in debt and then riding the work-unemployment
roundabout which I got firmlly stuck on. Taking any job I could find
to pay the mounting bills such as house painting, brickies labouring
and standing in the dole que for hours. The story moves onto my journey
of self discovery where I tried to break free from the daily slave
and struggle on to the realisation that what I had to do was find
some way to work for myself, to discover my definate major purpose
in life which would allow me to rely on my own initiative to supply
myself what I required in life. This led me on a journey in which
I
started formulating a business plan that led to taking on a business
partnership and a shop called "Gameznet".
The business partnership led to a disasterous period of life and because1999
was so very hard for myself and my partner Natasha I have decided
to publish my personal journal for that year. The reason for publishing
my journal entries is because I beleive there are some really important
messsages and lessons in there that would speak to many people on
a variety of levels. If nobody else ever reads this its depth and
meaning will be somthing that I can refer to and reflect on for years
to come so that I never loose the valuble insights I learnt or revisit
the mistakes I made in the past . I really feel that there are lessons
there for anybody young or old. It has to do with getting out into
the world on your own and giving it a realy good go, somtimes it gets
tough, really tough and somtimes you have no idea what your doing
or going to do to get out of a bad situation. But somehow you do and
life goes on. The journal entries cover the period of time where The
Gameznet shop closed due to the failed business partnership and as
a result Natasha and I lost everything we had, which wasn't much to
begin with. It describes the impact that the failed partnership had
on our lives. Luckily for us at the same time we gained a great deal
of joy and a new purpose in life through the birth of our daughter
Trinity otherwise I doubt that either of us would be alive right now
as she was our purpose to continue struggling. I feel that I learned
so much in this time that I really had to put it online and share
my experience with friends and anyone who are interested in hearing
my story.
I thought that the best way to tell
the events that surrounded Natasha and I during 1999 and the death of
gamesnet was to simply publish my journal and reveal the events threw
my own eyes as I saw them at the time and how I coped or sometimes didnt
cope. I have omitted several personal entries for privacy reasons and
changed some names for the same reason.
so
"never give up your dreams, No matter
how high things stack up against you in life
YOU WILL triumph in the end as long as you stay true to your
dreams".
